Frequently asked questions
How is KITCHEN CLEANER different from DEGREASER?
KITCHEN CLEANER is designed for daily and regular kitchen surface maintenance: cleaning light grease, food marks, fingerprints, water marks and everyday dirt. DEGREASER is designed for stronger dirt – burnt-on grease, burnt residue, soot and baked-on oil residue.
Does KITCHEN CLEANER remove burnt-on grease?
The product can help remove light or fresher grease, but it is not the main cleaner for burnt-on grease or burnt residue. If the grease is heavily burnt on, it is better to use DEGREASER.
Can it be used on a kitchen worktop?
Yes, if the worktop is resistant to water-cleanable, mildly alkaline products. On natural stone, wooden, waxed, oiled, matt, painted or specially coated worktops, first test on a small, inconspicuous area.
Can it be used on a hob?
Yes, if the hob is cool and the manufacturer allows this type of cleaning. Do not use on a hot surface and do not spray into control areas or electrical parts.
Is it suitable for induction hobs?
Yes, it can be used on a cool induction hob if the surface is undamaged and the manufacturer allows cleaning with mildly alkaline products. After cleaning, wipe the surface well with a damp cloth.
Can it be used inside a refrigerator?
Yes. After cleaning, the inside of the refrigerator must be wiped very thoroughly with a clean damp cloth or rinsed if possible, so that no product residue remains.
Can it be used inside a microwave oven?
It can be used carefully only on internal surfaces that are suitable for cleaning with water. Do not spray into ventilation openings, electrical parts, the control panel or door seals. After cleaning, wipe the surface thoroughly with a clean damp cloth.
Can it be used on stainless steel?
Yes. Spray sparingly, do not allow the product to dry and wipe with a damp cloth after cleaning. For final shine, the surface can be dried with a dry microfiber cloth.
Can it be used on a sink?
Yes, the product is suitable for many sink surfaces washable with water, provided they are not sensitive to mildly alkaline cleaners. On natural stone, copper, brass, aluminium or specially coated sinks, first test on a small area.
Can it be used on wooden surfaces?
Only on lacquered or otherwise protected wooden surfaces if the manufacturer allows this type of cleaning. Do not use on untreated, oiled or waxed wood.
Can it be used on natural stone?
Natural stone surfaces may be sensitive to cleaners, so the safest option is to check the surface manufacturer’s recommendations before use and first test on a small, inconspicuous area.
Does KITCHEN CLEANER remove limescale?
KITCHEN CLEANER can help remove light water marks together with everyday dirt, but it is not a limescale dissolver. For limescale deposits, white mineral residue or stubborn water marks, use Limescale Remover PRO.
Can it be used on surfaces that come into contact with food?
Yes, but after cleaning such surfaces must be wiped thoroughly with a clean damp cloth or rinsed with water so that no product residue remains.
Does it need to be diluted with water?
No, the product is ready to use. Spray sparingly – using more product does not necessarily improve the result.
How long should it be left on the surface?
Usually 1–2 minutes is enough. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.
Why did a film remain after cleaning?
A film may appear if too much product is sprayed, if it is allowed to dry or if the surface is not wiped sufficiently with a damp cloth after cleaning. Use less product and wipe the surface with a clean cloth after cleaning.
What cloth should be used?
For daily cleaning, it is best to use a damp microfiber cloth, sponge or soft brush. For final shine, the surface can be dried with a dry microfiber cloth.
Does the product have a fragrance?
Yes, the product has a pleasant fragrance and helps maintain a feeling of freshness in the kitchen.
Where can I find the composition and safety information?
